After the great success at all levels, collected in the finals of the world cup of this year 2019, the Grand Valira ski resort will once again host a new end of the Alpine skiing world cup in 2023.
They will be held in the sectors of Soldeu El Tarter on the slopes of “Àliga” and “Avets”.
These finals will be held from March 13 to 19, 2023, and the 25 best skiers of each discipline will participate.
The vote in which Andorra has been proclaimed winner has been very close, so much so that Andorra has won by 1 vote only to the ski resort of Kvitfjell-Hafjell in Lillehammer, Nourega.
This ski resort already hosted the Winter Olympics in 1994.
This proves the high competition between countries and stations for hosting this event, which Andorra finally won.
